What a charming venue in Church Road Hove, hence the name. We were recommended by friends to visit L'Eglise which we did for our daughter's 17th birthday in December.
The party for eight including my wife's octogenarian mother was greeted by the owners with the expected French charm.
The meal was a wonderful demonstration of French cuisine at it's best as was the excellent red house wine. All round value for money. The ambience was authentic bistro. The decor included tables made in France and black and white photos of Paris adorning the walls.
We had ordered a birthday cake a few days before which arrived at the end of the meal having been made to order by the French Head Chef. We could not fault the service or the quality of the menu. We will be recommending L'Eglise to our friends and relations and would love to visit it again for an evening meal.
