Owners Julia and Jean-Christophe Martin have a long history within the
restaurant industry, having met working together in a brasserie in Camden
Town, London,back in 1989. Between having their two sons, Maxime and Emile
and working in various restaurants throughout the ensuing years, L’Eglise
is their first venture together.
The Chef,Jean Yves Guiomar is from Brittany and has over 17 years
experience working in well established French and modern British
restaurants in London including Le Deuxieme and the House of Lords. He was
also a key player in the reopening of the famous Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club
and has now decided to embrace the quality of life that Hove (and
Brighton) has to offer.
